Just ASK
Does it sometimes feel like God is not answering your prayers? Does it seem like obstacles are popping up all around you? Do you sense that doors are being closed in front of you? If that is the case for you, remember to ASK.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8 ESV)
Just ASK
- Ask: Keep on asking
…. pray without ceasing, …. (1 Thessalonians 5:17 ESV)
- Seek: Keep on seeking
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. (1 John 5:14 ESV)
…. be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2 ESV)
- Knock: Keep on knocking
Don’t give up.
And he (Jesus) told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. (Luke 18:1 ESV)
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:6 ESV)
