July 4th is a day set aside each year to celebrate our nation’s birth. July 4th is a time to celebrate America’s independence. July 4th is a time to be reminded of the fact that freedom came with a price. Many people fought and died for the freedoms we now experience.
This 4th of July is also a good time to be reminded that genuine freedom comes from God, not from government.
For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17 NLT)
